Attorney Sarah M. Timmers is a self-identified Atlantan, inspired by the “Atlanta Spirit” she experienced during her visit to Atlanta in 1996 for the Centennial Olympic Games. The sense of the city’s long, storied history as well as its future growth potential, intermingling with the dynamic spirit of the Olympic Games left an enduring imprint on Ms. Timmers for many years. She moved to Atlanta in 2016 and feels privileged to reside in this great southern city, serving an internationally diverse community.

Ms. Timmers graduated from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law in Washington D.C., earning a J.D. and academic certificate in Law & Public Policy (LPP). She was admitted to the District of Columbia Bar and State Bars of Virginia and Maryland. Ms. Timmers practiced law primarily in the Commonwealth of Virginia for a decade. In December of 2014, she was admitted to the Georgia Bar. Ms. Timmers relocated her law practice to the City of Marietta in Cobb County. She practices consumer protection law and criminal defense throughout metro Atlanta. Ms. Timmers is a member of the Cobb County Bar Association, the Atlanta Chapter of the Federal Bar Association, the National Association of Consumer Advocates, and the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.

She is a member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and among a select group of private attorneys appointed by the federal court under the Criminal Justice Act to represent individuals accused of committing federal crimes and offenses.
